What is Biblical Archaeology?
Biblical archaeology is no different from general archaeology in that it seeks to either discover or confirm historical information regarding ancient customs, culture, persons and events in Bible lands through the analysis of physical remains.
Although archaeology relates to history, currently there has never been a greater time for uncovering the past secrets, particularly in Israel and around the city of Jerusalem. Recent finds include geometric patterned tiles, from the time of King Herod, discovered at the temple mount and a piece of ancient papyrus referring to Jerusalem.
